Kingdom Anywhere: A True Love Story
In February 2020, a traveling photographer walked into a Parisian dive bar and sat across the table from a local novelist. They connected over passages from a well-loved book written in Paris in the 1920s. Over the next six months, while the world settled into a new and uncertain normal, the two fell in love from across an ocean during a global pandemic via thousands of text messages, video calls, and photographs.
Kingdom Anywhere: A True Love Story is an epistolary and photographic account of what happens when two individuals dare to fall in love with one another before ever holding hands.
The limited first edition will also include an intimate visual archive of their journey from Paris to New Orleans, Maine to New York City, and back again.

Augusta Sagnelli, Creative Director
Augusta Sagnelli is an American photographer, designer, and creative director. Her photography has allowed her to travel the world. After graduating from Brooks Institute and working for MILK Studios in New York City, she relocated to New Orleans and established herself as one of the leading photographers in the city. In 2025, she co-founded the English language literary and arts journal SOUVENIR Magazine in Paris, where she has lived since 2021.

Samuél Lopez-Barrantes, Editor in Chief
Samuél Lopez-Barrantes is a novelist, musician, and literary tour guide. He grew up in North Carolina, which is the setting of his first novel, Slim and The Beast. He has lived in Paris since 2010. He holds an MA in social theory, an MFA in creative writing, and is also a member of the pop/Americana band Slim and The Beast. His latest novel, The Requisitions, a historical metafiction set in the present-day and WWII, was called “a strangely, luminously hopeful novel” by The Metropolitan Review.
